Fetal Monitor Transducers

AIV specializes in manufacturing new replacement fetal monitor transducers and the repair of fetal transducers for the two global market leaders. We support Philips (formerly HP/Agilent) and GE/Corometrics fetal monitors.

Our new fetal transducers are designed to be interchangeable with the original manufacturer’s transducers. They are functional equivalent and nearly identical in appearance. Each transducer is assembled and tested in AIV’s ISO 13485 facility to ensure the highest quality. Copies of our CE certificate and FDA 510K can be found here. AIV also repairs fetal transducers for most Philips and Corometrics monitors. Both tocodynamic and ultrasound transducers receive a complete overhaul and crystal replacement if needed. Every transducer is calibrated and tested before it is returned. See Transducer Repair section below for more details on available repairs.

Fetal monitors are used before delivery (antepartum) and during delivery (intrapartun) to measure both the mother’s and fetus’s health. Tocodynamic transducers measure the mother’s abdominal contractions. Ultrasound transducers measure fetal heartbeat. Corometrics transducers come in belt and button attachment models. Philips transducers combine belt and button attachment options.
